Lawyer Arrested for Fraud

An Irvine based securities lawyer was arrested late Tuesday for suspicion of defrauding investors.  Earlier in the day a federal judge entered a $66 million judgment against this lawyer for securities fraud in a civil lawsuit.
 
It is alleged that this attorney defrauded approximately 150 investors out of more than $20 million by offering sham investments.
